Tuesday 12-16-08

We had our christmas party at work today and they let us off early. I am soooo glad because I have so much to do. I have many follow ups to make. But, let me tell you what I did last night. I had a blanket I needed to get washed and took it to the laundry mat. I spoke with several ladies there and got their information. Then, I received a call back from the local ad I placed and the gentleman I spoke with on the phone said his computer had crashed but he was going to get it back up and running and look at the sight. Today, I also spoke with a young lady who gave me her information. I have met numerous people and one was last night that dont have internet, but know someone that has a computer, so I still give them the information. I want this opportunity to be available to all. monday 12-15-08

well, friday after work I had to go meet my husband who is a fedex driver and I walked around at Ingles but it was freezing cold so I did not speak to anyone. I did however, stop to get gas and met one contact at the gas station who gave me his information.

Then, I went to empty the trash out of my car and gave a flyer to a gentleman at the car wash site but he would not give me his information.

I did sign up a business mall member Friday. And made numerous follow up calls which resulted in several people saying they would like to look at it some more.

Also, I had one gentleman tell me it looked like something he wanted to do but could not take the time to sign up when I spoke with him.

I also called a few people just randomly from the phone book with a script that I wrote. I am profecting this. I was able to speak to several people. One said she would probably be interested in hearing more about how she could earn some money from home but did not have access to a computer. Another gentleman would not give his email address to me, but I'm gonna work on this type of cold contact.


I also spoke with a friend of mine who I think gave me two contacts to get signed up. Hey, I take referrals. I stopped at a casual acquantances of mine home and gave her a flyer and she gave me her email address and phone number. I also, had several more calls from my ad. Have a blessed day. Tonight is Panera Bread night, must rescue the bread they will not use and take it to the rehab center tomorrow.

friday 12-12-08

Last night I followed up with 2 people after 9pm because they asked me to. One answered the phone one did not, but he left me a voice message later stating he did not hear his phone-since it was after 10pm I did not call him back that late. I will f/u this evening with him. However, the one gentleman that I spoke with was very nice I would love to have him on my team. He is a hard worker and is looking for something to possibly at some point replace his income. His problem is he works long hours and does not know when he would have time to build the business. He went to the web site while we were on the phone since he had not had time to look at it yet and then he said he would think about it. The lady I spoke with last night told me the same she would think about it. But I did have one guy sign up as a business mall member last night yeah! He was ready as soon as we went through the information on the website together. I have not made any contacts today yet since I have not left work-but when I go out the door I hope too. More on Monday have a great weekend.

thur 12/11/08

work again today. I was able to take my lunch and put together some business information to get ready for the partnership program. I havent left work yet, but wanted to go ahead and send my report and blog so i could get it done for today even though i've only spoken to one contact. but.......it was the best contact ever. i called him because he answered my local ad. He pulled the site up and looked at it while i was on the phone "now thats what i'm talkin about". He had to go do something, but said for me to call back in 30 minutes because he wanted to sign up. then...after I hung up with him and turned in my report I had another person call me answering the ad..hey, this local ad is doing well, anyway I offered for her to go on line and let me walk her through it (it worked last time) and guess what she said call her back in 15 minutes and she would get on line and we could do it together. Maybe, this is a good thing. I know its a good thing, seems we meet so many busy folks. When people will go out of their busy way and take time to look at our presentation-those are people I would like to team up with.

We had our first call with Jacki last night-It was very nice to finally get to meet some folks and not feel like I'm doing this all by myself. I have been reading blogs and I know I'm not by myself, but talking to people makes a big difference.

oh, well, I cant blog too long gotta go call my contact back, hey maybe I'll get two sign ups in one night-that would be awesome. Until tomorrow.....

december 10 2008

before I got to work this morning I got a call from someone interested in finding out about the work from home ad I placed. Her name was pam I gave her the web site to go to and she gave me her email address and phone number to follow up with her in a few days. she says she doesnt get home from work until late so she would not be able to look at right away. I have sooooo many follow ups that I need to make and church is tonight. and the alternates have a call yeah. well, one contact is better than none. oh wait theres another message on my phone from jennifer she wants information about the ad-boo I called her she does not have a computer. i learned my lesson about placing ads. I forgot when I placed it to say you must have a computer and phone I have had sooooo many calls from folks with no computer just wasting their time and mine-we live and learn. hey there are two more calls on my phone ah, neither of them are available. my biggest struggle seems to be follow up i seem to see that is some of the other bloggers problems as well. we gotta learn the art of follow up.

december 9 2008 mypowermall bootcamp

sadly to say work took over today and I was not able to speak to my 5 new people today. I worked and as soon as I got off i had to head 45 minutes away to church to package bread for our bread ministry at church. while I was waiting in the car for others to arrive i did make a couple of calls to do some follow up. I spoke with one gentleman who was still at work so he was not able to talk will try to call him again. I just received my information about the business partnership today and started my list after I got home this evening. Life has a way of sometimes just happening so you are not able to get everything done you need to doesnt it. where did today go.

monday 12-8-08 my power mall bootcamp

today at work again. I am so thankful to have a job right now with this economy. I have met so many folks out there who are not working and are looking for something to give them hope. Not only do I have a job I also have a chance to share my power mall with them as well. I was not able to get out to meet folks today but I needed so desparately to follow up with some calls that I had received from an ad that I placed. I did get to speak with 4 people who said they would go to the site and look it. One lady said someone else had used her cell phone to call for the ad and when I went to give her the information to have them call me back I just asked her if she was interested in getting the information for herself and she said yes so she gave me her email address. You know what I told my husband the other day the way I approach people is that I assume everyone wants to help the food pantry. If they say no they are not saying no to me-they are saying no they dont want to support this worthy cause. Oh, by the way, friday after I had my 6 or however many I had I went out and got 9 more contacts. 8 at a previous work place that I had and 1 at walmart. a young lady told me she had been working 2 jobs-there was that word again the word job. any time someone mentions their job its time to share my power mall. (:

Friday 12-5-08 mypowermallbootcamp

well, friday another day at work but I do get off early today I am looking forward to that. I will go out and meet some folks after I get off since I need to copy some flyers to pass out. I spoke with one of the doctors I work with about my power mall since he and his wife use flyer miles. I thought they would be interested to get the rebates back as well for shopping she does some shopping on line since they have smaller children. this morning I followed up with a lady that had called me due to an add I placed in the paper and she said her mom, she and her daughter were wanting the information. Hey, hope you all join my team. I got my 5 today already but I will try to get more since some days I really dont have a chance to get out. Hey, one of the 5 I got today was a rehab nurse that came in the office and I told her about it. she said dont you want me to donate some money I explained to her how it worked and she seemed puzzled that she could actually get something out of helping someone else. hey thats the joy of my power mall isnt it. It is for everyone.

thursday 12-04-08 My power mall boot camp

well, work again and during my lunch break I had to call about getting my mortagage refinanced since interests rates are so low. the branch manager and I got to talking and he started sharing with me how he's been having to work 2 jobs because housing market down he was doing some landscaping work and wanted something he could do on the weekends. I shared with him about my power mall and he said send him the information. I've been trying to listen to ginny she says any time someone mentions jobs, or shopping or money my power mall should be mentioned. I got his email and phone numbner and sent him the information. I know it will help him. then, I was speaking with an old friend on the phone and I told him about it-he gave me his home address and told me to send it to him since his email account was acting up. I have his phone numbner does this count? also, after work the gentlemen who cleans our office came in he gave me his information and two of the girls that I work with gave me theres. I got all 5 today and I did not go out yet. I just gave the people from work one of the new christmas flyers and told them I was helping to raise funds for anderson interfaith ministries and My power mall had a way for them to make as much money as they wanted by shopping for what they already shopped for and still help the food pantry. one girl said "I like to make money"(:

concerning wednesday 12-3-08

I worked all day and when I get off on wednesdays I go to church which is a 45 minute drive from my work so I usually have to leave work and head straight that way. Church starts at 7:00pm and in order to grab something to eat I do it on the run. Today was no different. No time to speak with any one but I did give 2 invitation cards away thru the drive thru at Arbys. Then, on the way back we stopped at zaxbys to pick up food for my son and actually got out instead of going through the drive thru and I got two contacts. One employee in zaxbys and a gentlemen who was walking in, bless his heart even in the cold he was willing to listen and give me his information. Plus, the ad I placed in the paper has gotten great response and people have really been calling. I hope to get some sign ups soooooon. More tomorrow.

Tuesday 12-2-08

I was looking at one of the blogs and got this idea to write how to sign up for the world changer mall on the back of my invitation card. I wrote it on 5 cards and went to the nearest gas station. passed out those and decided to pass out more I passed out a total of 10 cards several at the gas station. I got three peoples information at the weight watchers they were getting ready for a meeting so I went in told them I was helping to raise funds for AIM which is our local food pantry explained a little of how it worked and they were more than happy to give me their information. I also stopped a young lady in the gas station and approached her the same way she said if I would e-mail her she would tell all the girls on her job as she works for one of the hospital rehabs here in town. Then, I went to CVS got a few names there and also to the local gym met a lady of DSS there. I talked to a total of 10 people several people only gave their name and phone some did not have email. Then, I went home and did some calling for follow ups and returned some calls from an add I placed in the paper. Busy, Busy- I love my Power Mall. Jarred hope you join my team soon.

monday

well, monday another day at work. While I was at work I contact our local food pantry to let them know what I was doing about helping to raise funds for them Anderson Interfaith Ministries it is such a wonderful ministry to folks who have difficulties. Please help me with this cause any who read this. Well, I had to go have some new cards printed to I gave a card to several women at the print shop but was not able to get their information. Then off to walmart for a few groceries and still a few cards passed out but still was not able to get their information. several people have given me their names then when I try to get their email address they say they cannot remember it.- One lady told me she was not interested in making the money but she was interested in helping the anderson interfaith ministry so I told her how to set a a personal mall. I have had numerous calls today at work on my cell phone of people that I need to get back with some of whidh are the cards I passed out last week. -hope to sign up some tognight.

friday and saturday

friday-ah black friday I spent the day shopping with my kids I did speak with several people but did not quite get my 5. My daughter was actually I think embarrassed about me speaking to people about it so while she was with me I did not speak to anyone else. I did meet Naushaba nice young lady and
sara targethope you guys join my team soon. Would love your success story to be part of mine at the end of this boot camp. Saturday I spent at our local jocky lot met numerous people and was only able to give them the card but did get several good prospects there. A friend of ours just recenty set up a booth there and I spent time with he and his girlfriend just talking as friends do. I met some extra people because I placed an add in the paper. I was talking to my husband and I told him this is going one thing for me it sure is making me a braver person. everynow and then I get a little twinge of fear-but quickly that has to go-I cant operate out of fear. Thanksgiving

Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! I'm exhausted, I think I've been dreaming about boot camp. Back to passing out invitations tomorrow.

todays activities

got off early-yeah! was able to get my invitations printed. It felt better. My first prospect I met at the print shop-hey everyone else seemed to be meeting some of their prospects at the print shop-so why not me-Hey this thing is duplicatable. haha. Anyway, next stop walmart-and guess where the best spot was for me to meet people-in the parking lot of all places. Oh well, got several there walmart did not have the size bag of kitten food I needed and I spoke with a gentleman shopping for cat footd as well but he said he wasnt interested. So, off to Pet smart-ah ha, next prospect. Today I met, Robert at Office Depot, Veronica, Gwen, Jerard all at Walmart in the parking lot and Judy at pet smart. I dont have any sign ups yet. But I will. Today I also tried to follow up with some of the folks that I talked to on Monday-not one person answered the phone. Talk to ya soon.

2nd day jitters

well, I printed my invitations quickly on regular paper and raced out after work to meet my world of prospects. I found out that fear can be paralyzing. I go to walmart and theres like a million people in walmart. So, I'm feeling more like a stalker than a professional with my crumpled up pieces of invitations in hand. Well, I speak to one family after we were able to start up a conversation. It felt good to get one done. Then I'm thinking who is next. My son and his girlfriend come and we have things we need to get. so, I'm distracted. yep. I leave a million prospects and only spoke to one person. So, I get in the car thinking what am I gonna do now. My husband and I have a meeting tonight to deliver bread to the rehab center and he's not home yet, so I go to panera bread, surely there will be someone I can speak with there. I sit down my computers acting funny-I'm only trying to look like I'm doing something-my husband calls he's on the way. oh no I havent talked to anyone yet. I'm waiting on him at the door and a friendly panera bread worker starts up a conversation. Bingo-I'm able to give one more invitation away and she was glad to have it. she said, I'm always looking for ways to make more money. Sadly to say-I only gave two invitations away but I'm having my invitations printed on card stock to get rid of one of my excuses-not feeling professional. First Assignment

Well, our first assignment for the MPM boot camp was to speak to 5 people a day about MPM. I work full time and I was late getting my information so I struggled to get to speak to 5. I was going to have to leave work late so I had to think quickly of how to speak to that many people at the end of the day. First, I had a lot of prospects that I had not talked to yet that I needed to call. So I must have called 25 people before I ended up with 4 people that agreed to look at the website. I thought oh, no I'm not gonna make it. Then, a gentlemen I work with came by my office. (smile) Guess what, I told him about my power mall and he agreed to take a look. . What I dont do during the week I will make up for on the weekends because thats when I can invest more time-I am doing this while working full time as a nurse. I know what they tell us to do will work.- so I'm anxious to see how everyone else is doing. The thoughts of going out in the community is a little scary. I dont have anything printed up to hand out. I'll get that done. Lots to do. Talk to you tomorrow.

I'm a MPM Reality boot camp alternative

I have been chosen to be an alternate for MPM reality boot camp-I'm nervous. I've never been part of anything like this before and I'm not all the computer savy either. This is my first ever blog. When I received my information to become an alternative if I would have had false teeth they would have fallen out. I'm excited. Can't wait to make $2000, but more importantly than that can't wait to teach others how we did it. Looking forward to many days ahead of hard work. Ask anyone though that I know, I've never been one to shy away from hard work. Lets get er done.
